My faithful 5 years old cat Master Frodo Baggins giving his usual mean stares for interrupting his cosy sleep in the empty plant pot...

What ARE YOU looking at???I bite!!!

He had passed away two years back.May his soul rest in peace.

Love always,

Your Owner

Two cats climbing up on a tree...

I came across this moment near the on campus apartment I used to stay at last year. The white cat with black and brown orange patches I shall name Bob and the grey with black stripes Kelabu!
Bob appears as a determined, keen and adventurous cat with his sharp glowing eyesights roaming aroud with the view from up there and fixing his stare at his partner in crime Kelabu.Kelabu seems to be a bit on the cautious side.
Out of sudden,a cat's animal instinct sharper than human creeps into Bob and he quickly stares down....straight at me!!Without much further hesitation, they both started jumping around chasing each other on the tree.
What a sight....

vanillahoney's 24th birthday!

Anyhow before I delve into birthday details I would like to first take a moment on pouring out my thoughts into the open.Clear up the pieces of feelings and massive crumbs of frustrations bottled up inside.Somehow i felt this year has been a special one for me experiencing the ups and downs of dealing with personal relationships.First on my family members.Second would be with my boyfriend.Alhamdulillah inspite of my rollercoster emotional side,I'm surviving well in tolerating, maintaining and pretty much finding balance in relationships with family and my guy.One thing I hated most throughout my life till now is dealing with family members differences, conflicts, etc.Sometimes when so confused and down right frustrated on many occasions I really wish I could just disapear, fly away far from family to be on my own,get focused on myself.Allah knew better what's in stored for me.All I have to do is to have the strength to accept how things are going for me and how the future may lead me.
As my relationship with my guy, alhamdulillah it's going strong as how I felt it would be for me and him.It is my first time ever to feel the experience of a (hopefully) sincere honest special person walk into my life to win me over and swept me off my feet with a clear, frank and warm intentions in getting to know me close and understanding me as how i am. I am grateful for Allah giving me this opportunity,it is indeed precious and should be given a fair chance to experience rather than brush it away in an instant for I've experienced in the past,it is never easy to for you to like a person and hope, heck expect that person to like you back. So my advice is,should a person approaches you and you find you would be able to learn to get to know(even if it turns out only for friendly feelings),GO FOR IT!Do not simply let it slip out of your hand before you really get to know the person.Sigh,i hope what i've said so far makes sense. It's just that funny at times, when I've made a serious vow to myself to never open up my eyes and heart to anyone new since end of 2006 and only by November 2006 during my holiday trip to Abu Dhabi,UAE visiting abang Shahril and having just met abang Shahril's colleague and giving brief conversation with him.Never would i have dreamt he would make a move in getting my mobile number and email from my brother just to get to know me.Fast forward the beginning of our new friendship a month later,he quite frankly pop the question of the possibility of a relationship between us.It took me the first few months to get over all my nagging doubts but eventually the closer i felt in getting to know him and being able to open up in being my true self and having realised that he's been able to accept me as i am i give in to the idea of a committed relationship especially emotionally and accept him as he is.Although we have long term plans about taking the next step in relationship,a "halal" relationship insyaAllah,we will face another year more so I would by then finish my degree and start working at least for the first few months,6 months max.We do pray always to Allah SWT whats best for us and our future together.

So I guess that's enough for now on confession of feelings. Its 1.11am and just few more hours to go for sahur.Im pretty much awake and its a bad thing.I've a 8am lecture the next day.Next..

My 24th birthday just passed on tuesday 18 september last week. It's funny how much I was excited at the time to quickly write in entry on how the day went.I guess it's still not too late yet to write this entry, much out of the preference of myself trying to preserve the memories of how my birthday celebration(s) went in writing :) and not really to have it shared with public's view.(Doubt most peeps wanna read anyway hehe).Nevertheless, here i go!
First stage of celebration was actually over a month ago.My boyfriend had to head back to UAE for work so we spent the day before his departure flight celebrating "my early birthday lunch" at Chilis Mid Valley Megamall. It was a simple one,we tried different main course and shared appetizer. We chatted on our plans together, though nothing serious as to not "spoil" my birthday mood.Very considerate and thoughtful of him.We took pics together for the first time.

Soon afterwards we went for a quick shop for my birthday gift. After much choosing,he got me a beautiful heart shaped silver wristwatch which I fell in love with the moment I laid my eyes on it.Thank you abang :)

2nd celebration was organized by myself, just a simple dinner gathering meant more to welcome the holy month of Ramadhan at home on 7 september.A small group invite, twenty all together though only 12 showed up but it was indeed a cosy memorable get together with friends especially ones i havent met for quite a while.Special thanks goes out to ijah,Aizat, esh, aina sara, hafis and fahy for being with me!

The next night,8 september was a special dinner treat to japanese cuisine abang Shahril planned with Kak lizafor me.Due to our shared rare love for the uumm fresh cuisine,my mother and younger brother pulled away early from joining.A pity they dont share the same feeling as us towards to japanese food.So we went for a splendid array of japanese cuisine buffet at JM Marriot Putrajaya Hotel.Abang Shahril got me a Sony digital camera and Kak liza got me a turquoise and silver bracelet with beautiful make up mirror.I loved the gifts.

Fast forward to the very special day,my 24th birthday!18 september welcomed me in the morning with madness feeling of anxiety in getting prepared for a quiz at 10am.I hardly felt being 24 at that hour.An early surprise was definitely the sweet sight of a huge bouquet of colourful roses,33 stalks of it arriving at home for me by my boyfriend.I didnt think he would want to celebrate my birthday twice but he did.I was happy in seeing his romantic side.Mama was even more excited at the sights of more deliveries of roses and teddybears that came soon after ordered by kak Murni for me and mama.Inspite of my rushing state,i forced myself to show up at uni with a presentable attire of rosy pink peach satin baju kurung with matching selendang i bought from UAE.It did somehow lifted up my spirit to face the day, eventhough with no plans of celebrating and whatsmore my boyfriend was "away" in UAE.We talked the night before and he joked though insist still for me to meet his "twin" at putrajaya erl station after lectures over so he could accompany me throughout my birthday.I played along, didnt want to hurt his feelings though the whole morning my mind went in a whir of wonders...who could the person be?Surely he doesn't have a twin.Maybe his younger brother?Friend with shared birthday date?So i went to Putrajaya and the moment i arrived and parked at the drop off point,my eyes went straight to my mobile phone to call my boyfriend to inform my arrival and have his friend updated.Out of the blue,(he did wear blue collared t-shirt!) my boyfriend appeared in front of passenger door of my kenari with a tired look but cheeky sweet smile.I was so SHOCKED i couldnt speak normally the first few minutes.Took sometime for my mind to settled in with the sight of him sitting beside me in the car.Like a awe-strucked person i was,on a dreamy state i repeatedly asked if it was really him or that if he really did have a twin.(how silly and embarassing come to think of it!).He just replied with his usual smile and chuckled with a simple explanation."i came back from UAE the night before, arrived at klia 8.30pm and so here i am today to accompany sayang on your birthday".He added"Sorry but i want it to be a surprise so you only think Im still in UAE,working".He then gave me a cute round bowl of Cadbury chocolate roses and Patchi chocolates.Sigh, how am i ever going to slim down???
We went straight to IKEA from putrajaya, arriving early before maghrib for buka puasa. After a short shopping visit there for raya biscuits i got for my boyfriend's mother,we headed to Marche The Curve for my birthday dinner.Special treat by my boyfriend.Thank you abang!Dinner was fab,my boyfriend enjoyed it much as i did.We took more pictures during that night.By 10pm our birthday date had to end for the night. We went back home to Bangi where i stopped by first at the KTM UKM st to send him off for his journey back to his friend's house in KL.
Last celebration for me was last thursday where i made a personal song request "If Its Ok With You" by Shayne Ward on Mixfm specially for my loved ones-family,abang and friends.Enjoyed it!
Phew,a long entry of details but I'll definitely want to have it stored for my own reading from time to time.

BBQ would surely taste better than fried rice with chilli beef...

Im kinda upset, there's a BBQ party tonite at Shah Alam organized by a girlfriend for our batch and I cant go simply over the fact that its too far from my home and I've no one to accompany me.Where is my boyfriend when I need him :p I would admit most of the peeps there tonite hardly ones Im close to,and there may be a particular person I wish not to meet...But then, the food..Sigh....had nasi goreng daging masak merah. If only it taste just as nice as BBQ!!
It doesn't help with the stress Im facing preparing for a test next week on Wednesday. So little progress done.Holidays nearing to an end.
Damn~
